Generate strong random passwords with configurable length, character classes, and exclusion rules. Live entropy and strength meter. All randomness comes from the browser's secure RNG.
Adjust the length slider, toggle which character classes to include (lowercase, uppercase, digits, symbols), and optionally exclude visually similar characters (0Oo1Il) or symbols that get mangled by some shells ({}[]()/\…). The “Require at least one of each” option guarantees diversity for sites with strict policy rules.
Each generation shows the resulting entropy in bits and a four-tier strength label — Weak under 50 bits, Fair 50–80, Strong 80–120, Very strong above 120. Generate up to 50 candidates at once and copy individually or all at once. Randomness comes from crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling for an unbiased uniform distribution.
